For my master’s thesis, I explored how shadows can be leveraged for the efficient packing of arbitrarily shaped objects into containers using a differentiable rendering-based pipeline. Beyond this, I have also explored other exciting domains such as 3D pose estimation, creative AI, and computational drawings. My research has been published in top-tier conferences, including CVPR, SIGGRAPH Asia, and ICASSP.
I have been incredibly fortunate to be mentored by Prof. Shanmuganathan Raman, whose guidance has been a constant source of inspiration. I was honored to be offered the Director’s Fellowship, the most prestigious fellowship awarded to a master’s student, offering the opportunity to continue a PhD at the institute. With my passion for computer vision and AI, I am eager to continue pushing the boundaries of research and making a meaningful impact in the field.
Cooch Behar Government Engineering College CPI 9.34
During my undergraduate studies I explored soft computing and evolutionary algorithms for computer vision problems. For my final-year project, I transitioned into deep learning, focusing on underwater object detection and image enhancement. My passion for research led me to undertake an 18-month research internship under Prof. Sourav De, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at CGEC. My research works were culminated into two published papers, a book chapter, and two copyrights.
